Imaging Mass Cytometry Core
Our core provides mass Cytometry by Time-Of-Flight (CyTOF), a fusion of technologies that use rare earth metal isotopes from the lanthanide series as reporters. The advantage of utilizing CyTOF as a means of quantification lies in the ability to simultaneously measure over 40 markers with minimal spectral overlap compared to fluorescence-based platforms. The addition of imaging capability of the platform (Imaging Mass Cytometry) provides unprecedented possibilities for deep interrogation of tissues and tumors at subcellular resolution to uncover pathology insights, new biomarker correlations and cell interactions.
