The Cedars-Sinai Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery Residency is a five-year training program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for two residents per year. The educational curriculum is designed to provide a combination of hands-on clinical training, formal didactics and research experience. Resident training will be based primarily out of Cedars-Sinai in addition to rotations at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System and Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego.
Training & Curriculum
The goal of the residency program at Cedars-Sinai is first and foremost to provide elite clinical training. Residents gain experience in all facets of otolaryngology, including broad exposure to all major subspecialties and current therapeutic modalities. Graduating residents will be proficient in a wide variety of surgical procedures in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.

With more than 860 beds, the medical center offers an exceptional breadth and depth of clinical experience. Cedars-Sinai has ample educational resources and infrastructure to support its more than 350 house staff, and serves as a major teaching hospital.
VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System
Providing a wide array of acute and ambulatory patient care services to our nation’s veterans. Sites include the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs West Los Angeles Medical Center, a 500-bed tertiary care teaching facility, the Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center and Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center.
Rady Children's Hospital San Diego
Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego is a nonprofit, 524-bed pediatric-care facility dedicated to excellence in care, research and teaching.
Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills
The Cedars-Sinai Women's Guild Simulation Center for Advanced Clinical Skills is an immersive environment equipped with the latest in patient simulators and medical devices.
